E-mail Setup

Some tips to help you set up your email for sending and receiving through MS Outlook Express. I have used email clients for Linux and MacIntosh, so if you need help with a specific email program, just let me know and I will do my best to help ;-) support@shoreweb.biz

Use your full email address as your POP3 username (ie. name@domain.com)

Do not log-in using Secure Password Authentication.

Your SMTP (Outgoing) Server requires authentication to send. If there are any authentication problems, go to Tools > Accounts > Properties > Servers. Then check the box that says " My server requires authentication ", click Settings. Type in your username and password, hit OK, then OK again. Restart Outlook.

Again, use your full email address as your login name. Again, no secure password authentication.

Make sure that you tick the box that says "My server requires authentification" as follows -

(1). Access Outlook Express and click on "Tools" -

(2). Then click on "Accounts" -

(3). Then click on "Mail" -

(4). Then add your name -

(5). Then add your email address -

(6). Then add in your mail servers -

(7). Then add your username and password. Remember, your username is your full email address -

(8). Then click finish.
